The symposium on Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace was held by special associations of SZDPF on April 4. Present at the meeting were the leading members of all special associations of SZDPF and social organizations. Associating with their own work or the disabled persons' cause, they in-depth talked about the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames.

Deputies present have had the same idea that the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames，as the main of Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace，is extractive and profundity. It contains the thoughts of patriotism, socialism and collectivism. It expresses the same wish from all people. It is the criterion for right or wrong. It’s a perfect amalgamation of traditional Chinese values and modern virtues.

Disabled enterpriser Ouyang Dong said: As we disabled persons are not as good as the able ones at body, we should more enhance our personality. To be honest is more important. We should set up good reputation with individual charm, so the other is willing to do business with us. Lu Zhongyuan, a disabled enterpriser with his product applying for intellectual patent said: the future of a modern enterprise always depends on how many intellectual patents it owns. So to uphold science is the key.

All deputies attended the meeting said they will make the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames as conduct criterion and improve personality to make more contribution to the society.

At the meeting, vice president of SZDPF Huang Chunbin called for having a true grasp of the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames; encouraging the disabled persons with the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames; and flourishing the work of the special associations and enhance moral education and induction for the disabled persons. Huang hoped the deputies will make exemplars for the others to hod the Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace. And then extend and deepen the education of the Eight Glories and the Eight Shames to all disabled persons in Shenzhen, making this as the mission of this year and flourishing activities of all special associations.
