Reporting meeting

Led by CDPF vice president Sun Xiande, a national inspection experts group inspected Shenzhen Resource Center of Assistive Technology December 24. 2007. After one- day examination, the Centre award the first National Disabled Assistive Devices Demonstration Station with majority items over the inspection requirements and outstanding achievements (regional resource centre).

At the reporting meeting in the morning, the inspection group listened to the work report by the leading member of Shenzhen Resource Center of Assistive Technology and watched introduction DV of creating work.
 
Accompanied by GDDPF president Guo Deqin, Secretary-General of Shenzhen Municipal Government Chen Yuming and SZDPF president Gao Jianwei, the group then visited Shenzhen Resource Center of Assistive Technology, Assistive Technology Service at Lianhuabei. They even visited disabled families and had telephone interviews.

Feedback meeting

At the Feedback meeting in the afternoon, the inspection group announced that Shenzhen Resource Center of Assistive Technology to be the first national assistive devices demonstration station with majority items over the inspection requirements and outstanding achievements (regional resource centre). The center has made great achievements and set an example for the country.
 
During the meeting, GDDPF vice president Xie XiLe spoke highly of the rehabilitation work for disabled persons in Shenzhen. He said Shenzhen has formed a comprehensive rehabilitation in long-term mechanism and establishing a working team with society resources bringing into full play.
 
He hoped Shenzhen to seize this opportunity of being national demonstration station to continue to progress in work of assistive devices. SZDPF Shu Shaoming said we should stand as a working demonstration to create a new starting point and continue to do a good job on constructing assistive service, and genuinely play the role of demonstration station.
