Experience exchange meeting for Guangdong disabled community rehabilitation demonstration area held in Shenzhen

Experience exchange meeting for Guangdong disabled community rehabilitation demonstration area was held April 19-20 in Shenzhen. Leaders related attended the meeting. GDDPF vice president Xie Xile and SZDPF president Gao Jianwei respectively addressed the meeting.

GDDPF vice president Xie Xile said  Guangdong province in three years should foster ten nation-level disabled community-based rehabilitation areas and 25 province-level disabled community-based rehabilitation areas. This meeting held in Shenzhen has strongly promoted the work.
 
SZDPF president Gao Jianwei believed Shenzhen will in 2008 complete the task to establish community-based rehabilitation demonstration areas, and reach the goal of “Every one enjoy rehabilitation ”.

GDDPF rehabilitation department head Guo Wei at the meeting conveyed the national experience exchange meeting spirit for disabled community rehabilitation demonstration area, and made a report on the work.

Deputy head of Shenzhen Futian District government Zhou Yunchang shared the experiences at the meeting. Shenzhen Futian District was named as the “National community-based disabled rehabilitation demonstration area ” in March 2007.

Over 120 leading members of Disabled Persons’ Federations from 35 cities or counties in Guangdong attended the meeting to exchange experience and Learn advanced methods.

    During the session, all working members attended the meeting visit some community-based rehabilitation institutions in Shenzhen.
