To speed up the residential block comprehensive vocational rehabilitation center construction, SZDPF has held a special for residential block level comprehensive (vocational) rehabilitation center construction, issuing specific guidance document and standard for ehabilitation center construction. SZDPF's working arrange has been deployed throughout the city. With positive response in all city, there has been an upsurge in rehabilitation center construction.

SZDPF donats 300,000RMB to Shahe Rehabilitation Center

Shahe Rehabilitation Center held its inaugural ceremony on June 18,2007.SZDPF president Gao Jianwei, vice head of Nanshan District Government Luo Yude and district DPF presidents and other related leading members from all the six districts attended the ceremony.

To effectively solve the problems of rehabilitation training for the disabled in Shahe, Shahe related leading members regarded the working of disabled rehabilitation as a key work of harmonious community construction. Leader Yan Ming personally settled the problems of place and rentals, investing nearly 500,000 RMB to build a standard rehabilitation center with construction area of more than 300 square meters. With specialized equipments and professional personnel, the center provides vocational skill trainings as computer skill, housekeeping, sheltered factory, supermarket simulation .It has created a warm and comfortable rehabilitation training home and employment environment for the disabled in Shahe. It has received a good name among the disabled and their relatives.
