Organized by SZDPF，a group of 55 community disabled members has visited Xiamen for its community disabled working Aug 22-Aug 25,2007. This was the first large-scale inter-provincial visiting tour for Shenzhen. SZDPF president Gao Jianwei and vice president Huang Chunbin required: the group should seriously study the advanced experience of Xiamen community disabled working, further broaden vision for innovative thinking, improve working ability and level so that to make contribution to the development of Shenzhen disabled cause.

World-famous harbor garden city -- Xiamen is a beautiful city. And the city’s community disabled working is more beautiful. During the study tour, all the group members were move by Xiamen disabled workers and moved by community association duty members. The tour was short, but the fruit of Xiamen community disabled working left the visitors a deep impression.

Careful preparations

To have the relevant information prepared for the visiting group, Sheng Yunchang, Jinshan community Party branch secretary of Xiamen Huli district wrote in person a special entitled "work hard to offer more to the disabled". He with some disabled families worked till 3:00am to complete the multimedia productions.

At the forum, Sheng Yunchang on behalf of the community ebulliently introduced the working of community association, vividly displaying the charisma of the community with multimedia. We all move by him when learning that he had worked all-night for the special and multimedia. Then he expressed gratitude and said: to be community duty members are not easy. They work at the grassroots level and offer diligent service to the disabled. I have great respect and admiration for them. His works draw applause.

At the forum for community association duty members, Xiamen duty members emotionally said again and again to Xiamen DPF leaders that “you are our second parents. “ The simple words from the bottom of their hearts touched every one presented.

You are my children.

Meanwhile, Xiamen DPF presidnet Yang xicong and vice president Chen Xiurui said respectively to us with strong feelings that: I put them (the community duty members) as my children. The sincere feelings revealed the relation between the DPF and the disabled, the relation between the DPF leadership and community duty members: familiar, understanding, respect, harmony and support. Only with this transfer and interaction of love, can Flowers be brilliant.

Achievement makes position and position makes greater achievements

Xiamen Huli district DPF president Wang Jiashan repeated: Achievement makes position and position makes greater achievements, which left us a deep impression. The experiences of the district DPF: strengthen training, develop working team, create condition, stimulate enthusiasm and appraisal management, especially the measures handling the relation between duty members and the community, aroused widespread response and won roars of applause.

Straightforward words reflected the community working by community duty members is acceptant and satisfied in the society. The community working won praises and honors. And all these come from Xiamen disabled workers’ persistent pursuiting to the disabled cause, come from Xiamen DPF leadship and community duty members’s hard working.
