Shenzhen municipal labor and social security bureau held a joint hearing with SZDPF August 7, 2007. The hearing was to discuss and revise Shenzhen trial measures for disabled people participating in the social insurance (Hereinafter measures). SZDPF president Gao Jianwei, SZDPF vice inspectors Li Xianfeng and the leading member from SZDPF RIP (Rights and interests protection department) Huang Suning, Shenzhen municipal labor and social security bureau policies and regulations department researcher Huang Xianfeng and leading members or representatives from relevant departments or units attended the meeting.

Persons attended the meeting discussed and put forward many constructive comments and suggestions to the Measures. Mr. Huang Xianfeng answered and explained the questions from the representatives at the meeting.

Ms.Gao Jianwei, for the concluding speech, pointed out that the measures setting has four important aspects. First, it resolves 揺ntry?for the disabled into the social insurance system; second, it plays a role of immediate interests and long-term interests for the disabled; third, it makes it clearly that in the social insurance system, government, society, families and disabled individuals should bear corresponding responsibility; fourth, it will further push social insurance coverage, promoting widespread social security. She hoped that the relevant government departments will speed up the measures setting, so that the disabled may earlier enjoy the benefits of social insurance.
