It is the first community disabled rehabilitation center in Bao'an

A grand opening ceremony was held at Songgong People's Hospital for Bao'an district Songgang Community Disabled Rehabilitation Center establishment Aug.31, 2007. SZDPF vice president Zhu Shaoming and relevant leading members attended the ceremony.

Before the ceremony, SZDPF vice president Zhu Shaoming and Shezzhen health beaurea deputy director Liao Qingwei  attended a relevant meeting to instruct and require every relevant department to jointly work for the constructing working respectively.

After the ceremony, the leading members visited the center and asked the rehabilitants about the treatment effect. The rehabilitants expressed their thanks to the government for doing so much for the disabled. They hoped they could join in the construction of harmonious society after rehabilitating there.

It is said that Songgang center is the first community disabled rehabilitation center in Bao'an district. Besides provides effective treatment services, the center also provides disability screening, rehabilitation resources, demand assessment survey, diagnosis, referrals and body check,; provides rehabilitation knowledge popularization, assistive devices service and guide to the community rehabilitation services, and establish health records for the disabled.
