Shenzhen Social Insurance Trial Measures for Disabled Persons (the Measures) put into practice on April 1, 2008, marking Shenzhen become the first city of the country in social insurance covering with all disabled persons. All disabled persons with Shenzhen household will be brought into social security system.

To better carry out the Measures for Disabled Persons, a course for Social Insurance Trial Measures for Disabled Persons was held jointly by Shenzhen Municipal Labor and Social Security Bureau and SZDPF July 9-10, 2008.Shenzhen Administration of Social Insurance Fund deputy director general Du Bin and SZDPF president Gao Jianwei attended and delivered speeches at the ceremony.
